Directions
- Cream shortening.
- Add sugar and cream well.
- Add egg and beat.
- Add dry ingredients, nuts and bran.
- Spread in shallow pan, bake about 30 minutes, at 350 F.
- Cut into suqares and roll in confectioner's sugar.
