Directions
- Beat egg very light and add shortening, sugar, dates, cocoanut, and flavoring.
- Mix well.
- Add milk and flour which has been sifted with baking-powder and salt.
- Drop from teaspoon on greased tin.
- Bake in a moderately hot oven.
- Time in oven, 12 minutes.
- Temperature, 375 degrees.
